June marks the beginning of summer, and this year we kicked it off in style. It was an honor for us to attend a destination wedding in Hamburg, Germany upon the invitation of Juan José and Madeleine, who became familiar with our photography style years ago in the Czech Republic. We arrived at the delta of the Elbe river a day in advance to explore the captivating architecture of the city of Jork in the outskirts of Hamburg.
We won’t be exaggerating if we say that everything was absolutely perfect. The weather, the surroundings of the Jork Town Hall, and the short visit in Buxtehude couldn’t have been better. It is true that the traffic in the second largest city of Germany along with the crowds of tourists posed a certain challenge. Nevertheless, we managed to seize the opportunity and took a few romantic shots with the town hall and then carried on with the wedding at the VLET Kitchen & Bar.
